B Physics

B Physics (Current) "B mesons" are particles that can be produced in collider experiments. Once produced, a B meson quickly decays into a number of other particles. The decay distributions of B mesons provide sensitive probes of the laws governing the interactions among the fundamental particles and can be used to investigate what the precise forms of these laws may be. Theoretical investigations in this field have been funded in part by the Research Corporation and by the SRTP (a division of CR&I: The Center for Research and Innovation) at Taylor University. Collaborations with researchers at TRIUMF, BNL and Purdue have led to publications in Physical Review D and Physics Letters B.
