Special Purpose Facilities > Animation

Our department offers two computer animation classes: COS 325 and COS 425. In these classes students use the Maya animation software package from Alias. This is the same state of the art software used to do the special effects and animation in The Lord of the Rings, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Perfect Storm.

Our students have created some pretty amazing animations over the years. We have posted some of them over on the animation projects page.
